We should sit down and start to
get you familiar with this dataset. I've put all of the raw data
on my ftp, as well as some scripts that read different
components.
Start poking around and downloading from ftp://triton.umeoce.maine.edu/users/slade/EquatorialBox/GP1-06-KA/
There's
a slew of subdirectories. You'll need the following to
get started at reading the
data: behrenfeld/ dh4-extracted/ scripts/ scs/
The
XLS cruise event log in the directory "emoa" is also
useful.
There's a processing notes word document in the
scripts directory that will give details about what I did. It's a
work in progress!
Perhaps the best way to start is for you to
start reading through and poking around, and then we can sit down
and I'll answer all of the questions you have. I expect a lot of
questions since the data are still in the early stages of
processing, and the documentation about processing is sparse!
It'll be frustrating I'm sure at first, but we'll work through
it!
