Our laboratory is involved in numerous outreach activities. We are part of the COSSE-Ocean Systems NSF funded proposal through which we help train teachers and teachers-to-be in the use of hands-on experiences to teach science in the K-12 curriculum.
We provide data to Bangor High School students for independant projects in Earth Science and Environmental Studies. We also participate in local science fairs as mentors and judges and Emmanuel serves on the following national and international scientific committees:
