Version # listing:
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.1f
27 April 2011
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed bug in version 1.1e related to latest
revision of SBE 16plus V2, 16plus-IM
V2, or 19plus V2 firmware, which allowed integration with WET Labs RS-232 sensor(s):
If a WET Labs sensor was not integrated (i.e., WetLabs=n),
when data was uploaded SeatermV2 created .hex files with an incorrect scan
length.
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.1e
19 April 2011
Additions/Modifications:
- Added support for SBE 37-SMP, 37-IMP, and
37-SIP firmware version 4.0 and later.
- Added support for SBE 16plus V2, 16plus-IM
V2, and 19plus V2 integrated with WET Labs RS-232 sensor(s).
- SBE 56: Temporarily removed firmware update
feature (will be added back in at a later date).
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.1d
22 March 2011
Bug Fixes:
- SBE 56: a few minor bugs related to
discovery of SBE 56 were corrected.
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.1c
10 March 2011
Additions/Modifications:
- SBE 37-SIP-IDO MicroCAT: modification of
Seaterm232 to accommodate initial production release.
- SBE 56: modification to ease discovery of
SBE 56 when another serial port on the computer is using an FTDI USB to
Serial adapter.
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.1b
03 March 2011
Additions/Modifications:
- Added SBE 56 Temperature Logger to
Instruments menu; selection of SBE 56 launches SeatermUSB, a new terminal
program.
- SBE 37 MicroCATs: Seaterm232, Seaterm485,
and SeatermIM now automatically launch SBE Data Processing's Data Conversion
module when you upload data from an SBE 37 MicroCAT, allowing you to quickly
convert uploaded .hex file to a .cnv file.
- SBE 37-SI, SIP MicroCATs: When
Seaterm232, Seaterm485, and SeatermIM enter a value for Sample Interval into
.xmlcon configuration file created upon data upload, value is based on
sampling speed (1 sec if no pressure sensor, 1.5 sec if pressure sensor
included) if MicroCAT is sampling continuously (SampleMode=3) instead
of SampleInterval=programmed into MicroCAT.
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.1a
20 October 2010
Additions/Modifications:
- Added XML command files for SBE 37-SMP-IDO
and 37-SIP-IDO (RS-232 versions).
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug that named capture files with
.ca instead of .cap extensions.
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.1
06 October 2010
Additions/Modifications:
- Added compatibility with new instruments:
37-SMP-IDO, 37-SIP-IDO, and 37-IMP-IDO MicroCATs (Conductivity, Temperature,
Dissolved Oxygen, optional Pressure).
- Modified upload of data from all MicroCATs.
SeatermV2 now uploads MicroCAT data to a .xml data file, and then
automatically converts it to a .hex data file and also creates a .xmlcon
configuration file. The .hex data file can be converted to a .cnv file in
SBE Data Processing's Data Conversion module, using the .xmlcon
configuration file. This allows the user to modify calibration coefficients,
based on post-deployment calibrations, to account for drift during the
deployment.
- Software rebuilt using Microsoft's Visual
Studio 2008 (previously used 1998 version)
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.00l
28June 2010
Bug Fixes:
- Glider Payload CTD: Soc coefficient for
integrated frequency oxygen sensor was saved to .xmlcon file with
insufficient significant digits.
- Glider Payload CTD: Cast header was omitted
from uploaded .xml file if user chose to upload all data as a single file,
by scan number range, or by address range.
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.00k
11 June 2010
Bug Fixes:
- Corrected a few minor bugs (no impact on
instrument setup or data upload).
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.00j
28
May 2010
Additions/Modifications:
- Compatibility with SBE Glider Payload CTD
added to Seaterm232.
- Modified upload defaults:
a. Seaterm232 - Default is all data separated by cast if the instrument is a
19plus V2 or Glider Payload CTD, otherwise all data as single file. Previous default was
address range.
b. SeatermIM and Seaterm485 - Upload default is all data as single file.
Previous default was address range.
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.00i
14 December 2009
Bug Fixes:
- SBE 16plus
V2, 16plus-IM V2, or 19plus V2 interfacing with GTD RS-232 sensor:
Conversion of .xml data file uploaded from memory to a .hex file omitted
data from GTD.
- SBE 37-SI/-SIP (RS-232 or RS-485) or
37-SM/-SMP (RS-485 only): Conversion of .xml data file uploaded from memory
to a .cnv file always used a latitude of 0 in depth calculation if sound
velocity and density were not also output.
SeatermV2 VERSION
1.00h
23
July 2009
Additions/Modifications:
- Added compatibility with SBE 16plus
V2, 16plus-IM V2, and 19plus V2 interfacing with Aanderaa
Optode RS-232 sensor.

during upload process, which is necessary for upload of headers for SBE 16plus V2,
16plus-IM V2, and 19plus V2.
- Fixed upload for SBE 16plus V2, 16plus-IM
V2, and 19plus V2;

calculate.
